Mitchelle’s has become our go-to Sunday spot with my boyfriend and his family, and we absolutely love it. The place is really nice, the staff is always welcoming, and the food is so good. I usually get the omelette, and it never disappoints—fresh, tasty, and cooked just right every time. It’s one of those cozy spots that just feels like home.
I went with a group of friends and enjoyed my meal so much that I brought my husband and kids back the following week. Our waiter was wonderful as was the owner. No matter what we order the food is delicious and portions are very generous. I highly recommend

Happy new year with a hidden gem of a restaurant. When we walked in we were greeted by a smiling face that was so welcoming. We were seated the wait staff was attentive and helpful with the menu with out being pushy. The decor was beautiful and even though it was full in the dining area we didn’t wait long for the amazing breakfast. Yummy, (it was so good I dug in and forgot pictures) The bathrooms are clean. I give this place all around 5stars
This Diner is so amazing. It brings you back to a nostalgic feeling of friendliness and togetherness that has been long missing in the hustle and bustle of modern day. The thing that stands out here the most is the staff. My waiter is always 100% friendly and accommodating. The son is always working as hard as he can to keep everyone happy and the staff operating as smoothe as possible. He baked a random batch of cookies one day while I was eating at the counter and offered them to me. I thought that was so kind. The daily soups are delicious, the hot chocolate is like no other and lastly the staff is so honest!! I left my debit and ID cards and a staff member went out of there way and delivered it to my home address! There are some things you cannot buy and you will find them at Mitchell’s of Valley Stream!
The food was delicious. Salmon and grits with cheese was amazing! Service was great! Parking was right in the front. My husband loved the coffee and Belgian waffle. Sorry about the pic. I started eating and realized how good the food was after the fact and took a pic to leave this review.
